Dr. Jovan Gvozden graduated from the School of Dentistry in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1979. After dental school he enrolled in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery department in Sarajevo and Belgrade, Serbia. He finished his specialization and he received his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery diploma.

Dr. Gvozden received training in not only extractions and minor surgery, but as well as head and neck reconstruction, trauma , deformity and infection of oral and maxillofacial region. After 15 years of practicing in former Yugoslavia, he was presented with an opportunity to expand his dental career in the United States where he was integrated in the Oral Surgery department in the Dental School in OHSU in 1995.

Following this experience Dr. Gvozden decided to attend Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA to obtain a U.S. Degree. He spent last 6 years in the VA hospital at the Dental clinic and Willamette Specialty Dental Group in Portland, practicing general dentistry and limited oral surgery.

Now he has made the decision to open his own private practice, Master Dental Corp.
